Hello guys, sup?

Reporting from a big, sunny and distant country of portuguese-speaking people called Brasil.
I'm in the middle of an engineering course, and that's one of my passions. The other are arts - and obviously music in particular.
I'm definitely not a tr00 gothic metal girl or whatever. I'm actually pretty commom and normal, depending a bit on your conception of normal. In terms of music, I'd listen to everything that sounds ok to my ears, and that's almost everything I've ever heard. Main is rock, though. And yeah, pop and cheesy stuff included.
As for Nightwish, can't say it was a first-hearing crush. I had a friend who liked it, a lot, so I decided I'd go deeper, opened Kazaa and downloaded a live track of Angels Fall First from, 1999, or 2000. Anyways - big mistake! The accent, the tubbed voice, I was like "OMG sounds so better on the cd. How can anyone listen to this??"
Well, I gave it another chance, and went for Oceanborn. They got me first time I heard Gethsemane (studio).
So, it's been some years.
I don't think anyone knows me here, execpt for maybe some people from brasilian forums. I used to follow discussions on the old board, but not post, so ^^'
