"French fashion house Chanel has launched a perfume extract and body cream
for its Coco Mademoiselle range. The extract, formulated by Jacques Polge,
carries a nuance of peach and a more accentuated vanilla than in the Coco
Mademoiselle EdT and EdP.
The 7.5ml extract will retail for €85.50 and the 150ml body cream for €59 as
of March 23 in Canada, South America, Europe and the Middle East. It will
arrive in Asia Pacific on June 24 and in the US on July 15.
The launches will be preceded and accompanied by a new press and billboard
campaign featuring British supermodel Kate Moss, who Chanel has again chosen
to represent the entire Coco Mademoiselle line. The advertising drive kicks
off internationally in the beginning of 2005.
A Chanel spokesperson tells Cosmeticnews.com that these additions are the
latest in a staggered enlargement of the Coco Mademoiselle line, which
will “most probably” see further extensions in the future, she reveals."

"Bvlgari Parfums is to relaunch two of its classic fragrances, Pour Femme and
Pour Homme, in second-half 2006.
The lines will be revitalised with new packaging, new fragrance editions, and
a high-profile advertising campaign that stars supermodel Kate Moss, which
was previewed at last month’s IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas.
The new packaging for Pour Femme is described as lighter and cleaner, echoing
the design of Bvlgari’s gold jewellery and highlighting the signature
circular “double Bvlgari” motif. It will be on-counter from September.
To reinforce the relaunch, the company will roll out globally its two
complementary versions of pour Femme: Voile de Jasmin and Rose Essentielle.
The former is a light, fresh floral edt based on a jasmine note. As its name
suggests, the latter features essence of rose in an edp formulation.
Both versions are presented in a frosted flacon, with a colour-coded cap, for
ease of differentiation. They too will roll out worldwide from September,
although Voile de Jasmin will be available in the travel retail channel from
June.
The new advertising campaign, featuring Kate Moss, will emphasise Bvlgari’s
jewellery heritage, and also flags its commitment to, and ambitions for, its
fragrance business. The strap-line is: “Essence of a Jeweller”.
Meanwhile for men, Bvlgari has updated the packaging for its Pour Homme
fragrance, and will introduce a new version, Pour Homme Soir, in September."
